My Experience with Ordering from wholesale-dress.net

My order is made somewhere in Sep/Oct 2008, and I decide to push up my write up on my experience on the first page for easy references. Please scroll down for more experiences and comments from others.

EVERY BUYER NIGHTMARE!!

ORDER FROM THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK! 
IRRESPONSIBLE SELLER & UNRESPONSIVE .

FIRSTLY, I ordered on 12 Sept 08 and they took 10days to shipped out the item which also took me 2 emails of reminder before they REMEMBER my order.










When the order FINALLY arrived. I only RECIEVED 7 pcs out of the 14 pcs which I PAID for. NO EMAIL was sent to me regarding the OUT OF STOCK and that I WILL Be refunded!!

SO, WASTING MY OWN TIME and AT MY OWN expenses I HAVE to TRY to regconise which pieces are to which design that I HAVE order and REMIND then of my refund. In which to MY HORROR there are 2 pieces which are TOTALLY unregconisable!!

And in ONE of the UNREGCONISABLE piece, there is a INK MARK!!

This irresponsible email they send me AFTER I INFORMED them which THEY are supposedly to INFORM me that the goods are OUT OF STOCK and I would be refunded!

She says this grey top should be the grey top in the LEFT PICTURE. WHERE is the similarities??? BLACK BUTTON!? GOSH ~ THESE are 2 TOTALLY different designs!!This WHITE on the left supposedly should be the right picture ... The INK stained indicated on RED ARROW.

After struggling with a few emails of reminder , they just send me a list of items which are the SENT and the UNSEND and they told me the money will be refunded.

On the 30th September, some money was refunded USD72.23. I was stun because they didnt even send me a BREAK DOWN of what is REFUNDED, it was like they choose what they like and just refunded it to me.

SO Another request was being done.

The saga continued, on the 2nd of October, she send me a break down and everything was in order but the 'UNREGCONISABLE TOP' and the INK STAINED TOP was not refund! FURTHERMORE she only refunded USD15.00 for MY SHIPPING ~

how did you actually come to that figure??



Secondly (as attached in different.jpeg for comparison) of the GREY top,
they were of 2 TOTALLY different design and I should be forced to accept it
without any
explanation???



Thirdly regarding that white top with defect of PEN INK (defect.jpg
attached)? No explanation either?? That is how your company do
business??Customer has to be forced to accept whatever you give?

THEY changed the SHIPPING charges!!

Even if so, they shouldn't have charged me so much for MY SHIPPING since this rate is give BY THEM. I order 14 pieces of clothings so that the average out for the shipping cost per pc would be lower but how can they without consulting me send out only 50 % of my order and as such costs my average shipping to be SO HIGH!? I could have chosen to wait for the rest of the stock to arrive !!

This is the way they always drag or shirk responsibilities, courtsey email without any solutions.

This IS not the first time I have ordered clothes from such website, I have ordered from CCT and JE551. THIS IS the WORST customer service I have ever encounter!! TERRIBLE.

After all these THERE have yet to give me a good reason for the GREY TOP and WHITE top? The LAST REPLED email from ashley

They accidentally sent me a list of the LINKSS of where they GET THEIR CLOTHES from! DUHZ, so their OWN factory which is mentioned on their OWN website are ONLINE FACTORIES!

  3. Hey it is really a bad net! I tried to order but they have too many excuses for out stock, and they seems don't respect their buyer, tread them as fool! Is every china seller do business in this way?? And also everything from this net is copied from others, text, products, even for graphics... they just copy everything from other nets and mixed together to sell their goods. Highly unreliable :(

  6. Hahaha China has SO MUCH online clothing stores, and I plot on this particular ONE???

    I am a real online shopper and met with a unhappy incident and want to share this with pple who manage to get themselves here and think twice about ordering from them.

    And I don't only order from China Site. I a just a normal online shoppaholic ordering from China, HK, Taiwan, USA and UK. But this is the first time I met with such Irresponsible seller.

  8. They are so dishonest. Sending faulty items (wrong in everthing, eg. material, style, size, etc...)and will not resolve the matter properly. They would only give you small part of the refund back (about 20% of the item price only) if they want to, otherwise they will come up with a ridiculous reason not to refund anything at all. They will try their best to rip you off. At the end, you are not buying cheap as you are paying for those faulty products that they sent.
    WHOLESALE-DRESS.NET (wholesale city) is a very bad seller that i have ever experienced.

  10. omg, they are not going to fix the problem! after all the emails that i sent to them, they decided to end the case without any partial refund at all. am i that unlucky?

    What kind of service is this? coward was what i replied back still demanding them for my refund. I will keep you guys posted for any future correspondance.

  13. OMG this is the worst place to order from!! I just received my order after 2 weeks of constants fights! The customer service staff is very rude and the chiffon fabrics are horrible! DON'T BUY FROM THEM!

  14. Lmao @ your posts. I know this was long ago. You must've been the "unlucky ones" I have order 10x plus from wholesale-dress.net and never have any problems. They do tend to have alot of out of stock items, but that's not a big deal. You must not be Asian, maybe that's why! You need to get a Asian last name, they will treat you better roflmao!! All their clothes was packaged properly brand new and with tags. It takes about a week to get to my place by FedEx. Great to hear that other people backed up from purchasing from their website, otherwise there will be more out of stock items. LOL! Cheers! v(^_^)

    I would definitely not order from "jstyleshopper.com" they have the ugliest clothes!! China seller don't do things the same, but to treat non-Asian people better? That's another story ROFL!!

    Here is my review:

    Service - Not good, but not worst. (Having Asian last name treat you better)LOL BULLSHIT


    Quality - Average, some actual items does not match website pictures, you get what you pay for.

    Shipping fee - Overcharge

    Refund - Don't even think about it, you don't get what you pay for.

    I have order from jstyleshopper.com before, fast shipping only take 3 days arrive only is you in USA, some items quality is very good some items is average and great service, price is little bit high.

    There is few Korean Clothing website in USA, go search on Google. If you mind ship from oversea go order from CCT-Fashion.com.

  17. Three pcs out of stock but I paid loads for the items including shipping fee but they only gave me the actual cost of the items withouth shipping fee so they owe me about 30 dollars... TERRIBLE

    go with je551.com , only a few days to prepare 1 or 2 then you have your tracking number.. hardly ever any out of stock items.

I bought things from this website twice & I received my items fine but yes the shipping price were ridiculous,they are more expensive than the items I bought and is not like what it says on the shipping rate on the website. I'm having problem communicating with them because their English is broken. And they ship my item after 2 weeks from the day I put my order & took another 3weeks to get to my place.Luckily I never ordered more than just 3 items at once. Some of my booked items are not re-stocking at all, I've been waited on this one dress but until now, it is still out of stock.It's been 4 months now if I'm not mistaken (as usual no email/message has been sent to update me)..Overall what I can say is, they are just bunch of unprofessional sellers who trying to rip you off by selling cheap product(not high quality/provide good service/ anything) but they will charge you more on the shipping & "at your own risk" thing to get their profit for the day...

  23. Hi there! I am experiencing the same problem as you did experienced with WD.net. It's been two weeks and I haven't received my orders yet. So I filed a paypal dispute. WD.net told me to close it before they send me my orders. Stupid! I look like I am begging for something that I already been paid for. I don't feel that they value their customers.
    My worry is not to be able to get back my money because they told paypal that I have had already received the items. But I have sent to paypal all communications between me and that WD.net. DO YOU THINK GUYS I WILL BE ABLE TO GET MY MONEY BACK.

Too bad I just read this blog after I have ordered from them. true! rude customer service people. when you ask help about tracking they will keep telling you the items are being prepared. that's for more than 2 weeks! it's not like they update you, but it should be you who needs to update them or remind them that you're waiting for your item. I wonder if the owner of this blog was able to get her refund. because I am on chat now with wholesale-dress asking for my refund. my credit balance was only $50 but I chose to request for a refund, but they sent me a refund for only $17... what a bullshit! now they're claiming they did sent out $50! grrr! what a lame excuse. tpos they'll keep telling you to wait because they're busy... pag-aantayin ka nila sa chat ng super tagal!

    When I first bought it, I came to site and began panicking ask it was already to late for me to get back my money!! I just wished for the best really..

  31. This company is the worst for customer service and they are very slow in shipping my order. I order once and decided to give them a second chance and I am still waiting for my order. Placed it on september 6th 2010 and still haven't heard anything. I sent email and live chat with the operator all they tell me is that it is being prep. How long does it take to prep????? I will never order from them again.

  32. Agree.. Don't Buy from Wholesale-Dress.Net.. OMG I wished that I read the reviews before I bought any items from W-D.. *Experiences are not Free*

    I have ordered 15 items from W-D (17.09.2010). Paid (17.09.2010)- Prepared - Shipped out (20.09.2010). I was shocked because 2 of my orders were OOS and they didn't inform me before they shipped it out.

    When I received it, more shocked (>.<) I ordered 5 pcs of dress, same model and colour. Horrendous knitting quality. Even signs of food stains, Chocolate Cake. Not only that, my other orders, 3 pcs of dress, same style and colours, faced the same thing. Horrendous knitting quality. And many more, same problem with my others orders.

    After that, I gave them my reviews to all of my order item. You know what, just now I have checked it and they have deleted it. O no.. Hopefully that other buyers did not fell into their trap.. (>.<)

    The shipping cost is worse. They charged me for 6kg, when I received it from UPS, it's only 2.1kg.. arghhh.. (T.T)

  35. Hi, i have been buying from wholesale-dress.net for about 5 months.. it's true, some items are bad quality,bad fabric, bad sewing.

    I have bought over 600 items, and over 10 orders.. They have always given me a full refund for the mistakes, and for the out of stock products.

    The support team is really really BAD, they really don't know english at all.. and you must insist.. otherwise they won't understand you..

    I had received many dissapointing products, but also many really good products, for the price i paid for them.

    In these 10 orders,and over 600 items, 5% were bad, 60% good and 30% really good .. for the quality versus price.

    I will definetly buy more, now that i know what to look for, and which products are bad.

    Related to the shipping costs, they do indeed overcharge.. i pay for 30 kg and receive 15 kg..
    But i use Fedex, and they really keep their word, fast shipping and affordable.

    If you wish to buy just one, two, three items, i don't think it's too conveniently..you might have bad luck and receive some bad products.. but if you want to buy more than 20 items, it's really cheap and you will see .. there are some good quality products too..

  36. Get out cheater! You work for wholesale-dress! I've ordered 20items from them, it takes over a month to arrive!! And over 10pcs out of those 20pcs are simply CRAP!! I'm not only talking about their poor quality fabric but the clothes are just NON-WEARABLE! Why should I buy items those are too cheap to wear?? I paid a total of US$200(items $80 + shipping $120) for 20items and each of them cost me appx $10, while only 10 items are wearable(it doesn't mean good quality!), that mean $20 per each! And the 10pcs better are actually accessories.. It was a tragedy to me!!!!! I've ordered from some Hong Kong wholesalers once or twice b4..cct/causewaymall/JE551, they cost me higher on item prices, but I turned out getting the outfits at $10 per each as a total, and the pieces' quality are much better! This is the 1st time I ordered from China, and I'll NEVER NEVER do that again!!!

Hainute Dragute la COMANDA sorry if I'm made you disagree, I'm just sharing my experience here, I paid the money from MY POCKET, and I'm also liable to my customers.. the accessories I've recvd are ok, but the clothes are really CRAP! They even don't look like the photos! Apart from the money I lose for the un-wearable clothes I brought myself, I've also lost the confidence's of my customers! I've even refunded them and pretend that I didn't recvd the clothes they ordered on my speer!! You want me to see some good reviews or what? I don't care! I just wanna know whose gonna refund the money of my 2 out-stock items???? And most importantly will you bring back my customer's confidence?? The money they didn't refund me for 2months and didn't reply to my emails and block me from msn messages are all FACT to me! Who will be that stupid to order again based on SOME OTHERS PPL'S REVIEW if I've already experienced this cheat??? And why are you still asking victims to trap in again???

DONT BUY fROM THIS SELLER , they are scammers, i ordered 10 pieces of them still waiting, called customer services and and one advisor said it's been shipped, called again another adviser said it's being prepared will be shipped in 2 days, dont know what to believe. anyone tried getting their money back from paypal?

  44. Just received this week my last order that I will be getting from them ever! I am so mad at there lack of customer service and ehhh attitude. All they ever say is sorry but there nothing that they can do. I ordered 6 things from them and only received 5 when I emailed them this is what they said to me:

    I was so mad! I checked the shipping label but I didn't see a weight on it and neither was there a packing slip. I should have learned the first time because before that that I had an "out of stock item" and they refunded me the item amount but like 1.50 or so for shipping when I paid almost 40 or 50 dollars in shipping it didn't make since so I emailed them and got another sorry dear thats all the shipping that we can refund you order. So when I asked just to have it refunded they said only as credit. CREDIT REALLY!!! I have shopped on other online places and they would never do this they would have had more decency but they know that people will still shop there and they still get there money. I tried to contact the online BBB but got nowhere.
    So I will never shop there again and thank you for this website I wish I would have seen it sooner :(

  45. a few days ago, I ordered some things from there, and days later I saw this blog and I scare because most of the comments were negative. I guess I was lucky because I was treated very well and they only took 3 days to send my stuff.the only bad thing is that they didn't sent me 2 things because they're out of stock, but I got my money back. it's supposed to arrive on Thursday. I still do not know how the quality is going to be but hopefully good.when I get my stuff I'll let you know if it was good or bad :)

  48. i shopped at wholesale-dress.net for a weeks ago, i recieved my 5 dresses that i've ordered and i found out asshole quality, SUCKS quality!!!! really TRASH quality....NO one out of 5 dresses wearable, very disappointing ... the most disappointing 5 dresses i've ordered from them there are HOLES, stitches not very good and smell so bad. It seems they never check before they shipped.
    In the next day I emailed them and sent my complaint and they said..."can you accept that dresses those are only small holes and next shopping you have discount." (((what the heck they replied me so unfriendly)))

    so bad I too late reading these reviews here...

I had been ordering from wholesale-dress.net for quite some time . . at first, their quality was rather acceptable but lately, the quality is getting from bad to worst and furthermore, i had lost many customers and got complain for the last batch of clothes because of color difference. . sometimes its really hard for us blogshoppers to refund as we are only selling at border price and moreover, if we refund the customers, den, who refund us? if we were to send it back to them, we still got to bear the cost . . because of this, i had lost trust from my customers and even dou they have wide range of stuff but still . . it will be an unforgettable experience of mine.

    And what is WORSE is that they sent my clothes down fast, but in the package they put 1 and a half HEAVY magazines in the parcel!

    This is how they jacked up the shipping price.

    Bcos they CLEARLY state on website that they charge shippinga according to weight. So this is how they charge you more!

  56. i oordered fromthem online because the pictures look so good and it looks cheap from the onset but after getting my orders my fear of "chinese way of doing business" was realized...worse service and very bad product..the products was VERY poor in quality, and they sent me one wrong item, when i called them all they said is, "were sorry, Please accept it" thy wont refund they wont exchange...i was so upset at them i did not buy anything from a chinese store or gorcery for months!! even the branded bags and clothes when i see that its made in china i did not buy it...their business practices are awful.

  58. I guess I was one of the lucky ones. They were very friendly and responded to all my questions within a day or two. They even partially refunded me when they didnt have some of my items. When the refunded me, they refunded it to my wholesale acct and I was unsure about whether I would order from them again and they refunded it back to my paypal acct within two days.

    The quality of the clothes were okay. Some of the clothes didnt match the picture. Stay away from the coats and sweaters. Most of the sweaters were made from really shitty material. The coat I received was too small and kinda ugly. I'm ordering again for the dresses and skirts. I received many compliments on the skirt I bought here. It is a gamble ordering from here but their customer service was fast and friendly. Order at your own risk.

  59. ohh btw zipia.net is a really good site. Their quality is unbeatable and the clothes there are relatively cheap. Shipping might get to you. They sell both men and womens clothing but from what I remember they have a minimum order of $300. Ouch.

  61. I should have read these review before buying clothes from wholesaledress.net. Their clothes are always out of stock, No matter how many pieces of clothes you choose only piece is available. So after charging one piece of clothes plus shipping fee, it's really expensive for a cheap quality clothes.

    Really not worth. Very disappointed. Top up abit more of the money, i can buy clothes from shop where I can at least feel n see the fabric. Clothes that I bought from them, don't think I will ever wear it.

  63. I've order from wholesales-dress.net twice. The first time was ok, the "preparing" process took forever, I ordered 7 items and only 3 were available. When they arrived, only one item was decent, the other two were crappy in quality. But I let that slide since the price was cheap. I made another order with them for a second time a month after the first one. The second order again took forever to ship, and again only half were actually available. The quality was less than satisfactory, one of the skirt I ordered looked nothing like the pic on the website, so I asked for money back or store credit for that one item, not only they denied my request and they were very rude to me, I also started getting strange text message spam on my phone (the same number that I submitted to wholesale-dress when I ordered my stuff). The texts were in broken english and it contained a link to a .cn website. I suspect that they are the one who gave out my phone number to spammers because I had never received spam like that before, and I had never dealt with anybody outside North America. I am still getting the spam occasionally which is annoying because sometimes they come after midnight when I'm asleep. I don't know what to do about that but I'm sure that I won't be ordering from wholesale-dress ever again.

  70. I just had the same experience as you did guys. Worse is, this is my first online purchase and it was HORRIBLE!!! I ordered 7 items from them and only 2 were in stock. I told them not to ship it unless my orders were complete but they still ship it anyway. Without asking me. The shipping cost that they charged me was far more expensive than the items that they shipped. They refunded a partial amount of the money but they put it on their site. I tried to make some arrangements so that it can be a win win situation but they refuse to do anything. So just to finish it all of, I asked for a refund on my paypal account since I don't intend to buy from their site ever again, but they haven't given it to me yet. Now Fedex called me, asking me for $7 because they said that the sender requested this amount to be shouldered by the recipient. I asked them about it and they said that I should have checked those stuff before I made an order. How should I know right? This is my first time and they didn't said anything about it. All in all, they rip their customers off. They give bad service and take as much money as they can from other people. I found out that there's a lot of bad feedbacks about them. Too many. I would never ever buy from this site again. I am yet to receive the item that they sent me and I should be receiving a refund by today as they said. Let's see if what they sent me is worth the trouble and if I'm really going to get my refund. Good luck to the wholesale-dress.net people. I hope authority gets to you soon. By the way, their US number is not their number. It's someone else's number. It just proves that all of these are scam and a big lie.

  72. Hi all ;) I was going to order quite alot of things from WD, $1500 worth. So I decided to check some reviews so I know whether this is going to be worth my money or a complete scam. I sell alot of things on Ebay and well there are some pretty shoddy sites out there. I've read many reviews about WD and alot of them.. are well negative.

    I'm so glad I've read all these reviews, I was about to pay through Paypal but when I went to pay through Paypal, Paypal site said that the Seller needs instant payments so I had to enter my Credit Card details. The reason why we pay with Paypal is so we don't have to do that and not compromise our Credit Cards!

  73. I also have the same experience with www.causewaymall.com ran by chinese people at my very first time in online shopping. I ordered 14 pcs. They did sent me all my orders but one item is defective. I took pictures and sent it to them and I was surprised with their answer. They want me to send back the item at my expense (shipping cost)and the will refund based on the item cost. Who the hell would do that? Shipping is much bigger than the cost of item! and even if shipping is for free refund based on the item cost is still not enough! I paid for the shipping of that item and the money transfer fee which is also something... Not to mention the time and effort I spent for that transaction. Another option they gave me is a 10% off of the defective item cost on my next order. It pissed me more coz its still in their favor! I still have the item now. Everytime I see it I get upset again. No fool would ever want to buy the item even for $.1 coz its totalled.

    Its really an impacting to the chinese business people. That is really how most of them do customer service... Sad reality... but true...

    I ordered some items, got sent a completely different dress (imagine receiving an ugly purple shift dress when I had ordered a floral print dress) and they told me the item that was sent is a beautiful item and that I can order the dress I originally wanted again... and pay postage again!

    I thought it might be a one-off (fingers crossed!) and made another order.. I'm currently in a battle with their after-sales dept because the clothes they sent me had a hole, stains and missing embellishments!

    Their solution? They're very sorry but I can wash the stain myself and I can sew up the hole myself.. no mention of the missing embellishments!

    Never again and yes, I am now on a mission to bring them down and warn all future buyers to go elsewhere!

    btw.. does anyone know if China has a consumer authority department we can complain to?

So glad I found this blog although I have made my order to wholesale and I have paid 1.473$ Now they are asking me extra 300$ for custom expenses and stil they haven't finish my order and I dont know if they have all the models on stock or not. So, I called them today but they insist to pay the extra 300$ although I was telling them that if they dont have all my order in stock how they ask more money for custom.
    Now I am going to ask refund via PayPal Hope I ll get my money BACK! Cause I think that if give them extra 300$ I ll lose more money after all these bad reviews I read here.

    Wholesale Dress will say to you "just close the dispute and we will refund you". DO NOT believe them! They want you to close it so it is not on their record AND they won't refund you once it is closed!

    I just wanted to say that Wholesale-dress.net is the best website ever!!!!. i have order from them 5 times now and everytime i order it takes 3-5 working days to prepare and then 2 more days to ship to my house and i live in florida. their clothes qare amazing i am constanly buying clothes for my 4yr old. what you see in the picture is what you get. the customer service is wonderfull theu help me with every question i have and always respond back. they are polite and overall wonderful. i dont know why all you decide to give bad reviews for this company but they are just wonderful. yes i do agree that their shipping is expensive but what the hell you are getting clothes from China!!!. i reall dont care if you guyd believe or not. but i have never had any problems with Wholesale-dress.net

  85. oh my goodness, i totally agree with you and almost everyone else (except the people who gives whole-dress.net positive feedbacks).
    they are a really bad company.. i had two packages that were shipped to me using the company fedex.
    so they never sent me me any emails regarding where my packages are.
    so i sent them an email because my package was long overdued and which took them agesssss before they even replied.
    they provided me my tracking number and when i looked it up, the package has already arrived in melbourne, but is on it's way back to china.
    i rang fedex and they told me i didn't confirm address. THAT WAS BECAUSE I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW MY PACKAGE ARRIVED AND I HAD NO EMAILS REGARDING THAT WHATSOEVER!!
    so i emailed the person responsible for shipping.
    one week later, NO REPLY.
    i used the live chat assistant. long delays, irrelevant answers and eventually stopped responding. worse customer service i ever received. a few days later i tried again, BUT THIS TIME THEY TOLD ME MY PACKAGE WAS DESTROYED!!
    i asked if they could reship it out and they said 'you can reorder if you want'. WTF?!
    i asked if i could get a refund for my items destroyed. i was generous enough to not ask for the shipping fee refund. AND THEY TELL ME NO BECAUSE IT'S MY PROBLEM FOR NOT COLLECTING MY ITEM WHEN THEY SHIPPED IT OUT!
    i am so angry, frustrated, annoyed and PISSED!
    i spent almost 100USD AND SHIPPING THAT COSTED 90USD and now they're telling me i can't get my items and not even a refund.
    THIS IS LITERALLY A NIGHTMARE AND I'M NOT EVEN JOKING WITH YOU.

  86. i should've read this before i bought my bridesmaids' dresses. i ordered 3 pieces of same dress paying $19.05 each. it took 15 days to get it prepared and 2 more days shipped. since it's custom made, i understand taking so long to prepare. but custom report said they claimed the product as $45 each. thanks to that i got charged about $36 in tax. i was supposed to get charged $13.15. so i emailed them why it's $45, not $19.05, the answer was "new staff's mistake" and $6 compensation. after i sent an email, i called customs and they said if it was marked as $19.05, i wasn't even supposed to get charged because it under a limit. wholesale-dress.net owes me $36 now, but since i told them $22.85, i'm trying to get what i asked for. unfortunately, they offered me $10 and said "please kindly accept it". i don't understand how $10 can be compensation for $22.85. i hate them.

    I've ordered from then 4x total, all fine experiences, all large orders, and I've never had more than two pieces out of stock. And actually I was actually refunded the EXACT amount including shipping to my account. I didn't like that the products could only be refunded in credit, but I guess it's not that bad because I'll always be ordering more for them. Though, I have a few tips:
    •NEVER order anything claiming to be made of "chiffon," "silk," or "leather." Particularly leather. I have order a "leather" purse from there and what I got was a thin cheap pleather material that ripped within one day of wearing it. Other than that particular incident, I LOVE their purses.
    •ONLY order recently stocked items. You can do this by going to the section marked as "new arrivals" or by going into the normal clothing section select the option "sort by time." This way it is easier to avoid "out of stock" drama. One thing I've noticed was that they REALLY don't change the stock status as often as they definitely should. I know this because once, after I received an email about one of my items being out of stocked I checked the page of the item. It still had the "in stock" status.
    •I wouldn't order anything TOO cheap. I'm saying like $1.50 t-shirts. I've ordered a few really cute t-shirts from them before, and I've liked all of them. I don't order too many, because I'm not really the type of girl that likes to wear things like that. I prefer lacy tops and dresses, usually in baby pink, white, or ivory. Every item that I've ordered was under $15 except for one particular dress that is absolutely STUNNING and definitely worth the $22 I paid for it. Still a great deal! (in my opinion)
    •Keep in mind that you're actually paying a lot more for the items than it seems at first. The clothes are ridiculously cheap, but you'll end up paying about $5 in shipping per item if you make an order of about ten pieces. On average, I end up paying about 10-15 dollars for each item.
    •Personally, I've never bought pants or shoes from that website but I don't suggest it, seeing as those things really are best to wait until you can be fitted and try on those things in a store, or somewhere you can be SURE the size will work. Unlike here where the sizes can be inconsistent.
    •About customer service, I've had only one instance where I have needed to contact them and it went fine. I needed to change the address of my order since I had recently moved and had forgotten to change my address. It did seem as though the person helping me had a difficult time communicating with me, but I feel like as long as the problem is fixed, fine.
    •I also suggest staying away from any items that claim to be belted. Whenever I see reviews of things like that they don't usually look that great X)

    All of my orders have been to my doorstep in 4-8days, even now here on the east coast of USA.
    Anyway, just keep in mind these things and you should have a fine experience :)

  96. don't buy from this place very low quality and doesn't refund or recognize bad quality. got wrong items and the items look nothing like the web site! for a $200+ order they offered me $2 off my next order.
    i rodered a dress with lace across the bodice for my bridesmaids and they basically pieces cut fabric to "look like lace" but some of the holes are large and some or tiny tiny. a dress i got has threads as part of the fabric that look like a line of irregular dots on the bottom, the flower on my belt fell off after an hour. SOOOO bad!

  97. I made 5 orders in this store (22 pieces - dresses, shirts, jackets and coats). 13 pieces came in wrong sizes, I received torn and stained dresses, Some pieces were totally different from the pictures. I received 2 coats without BUTTONS!!
    They really doesn't have a after-sales service, they didn't want refund the wrong, stained and torn pieces...I opened dispute in paypal...and everyday they sent me a email asking me to close the dispute..This is the only way to resolve your problems with this store...pay your order with paypal and if some problem happen..   106. I bought from them on more then one occasion. Disappointment every time. They sent me the wrong size dress, a regular free size when I'd paid for a custom sized, when I messaged them they just said they must of sent it by accident and offered no refund or solution.
    They sent me the wrong size shoes, when I messaged them about it they didn't respond. The other pair that was actually the right size, broke within 30minutes of wearing them, it's the first time in my life I've had the heel break off my shoes, terrible quality.
    The pictures of the items are great, and the prices seem good but they're untrustworthy. T.T They have a strong lure.

    I order my 4 clothing 2 weeks ago
    after waiting for an unreasonable 12 days (because the website listed as 3-4 days shipping) i got my orders

    It appears that 3 of 4 of my orders are too small, it's because their measurement size listed on the site is not accurate enough.
    The other one is just plainly bad, it's not good, doesn't look like in the pictures
    THE BUTTON ALREADY CAME OFF BEFORE I EVEN WEAR IT.

    So, i email-ed them and ask for an exhange size and 1 refunds.
    But guess what they told me??

    "Dear,
    sorry for that ,do you mean that all the items you ordered are smaller tham you have imagined,then how about give them to your friends who can wear them ,and if you really like the style ,you can make another order to order L size ,it must be suitable for u .
    Have a nice day !"

    I mean WTF was that? is that supposed to be a response ??

    I was so furious that i contact them through the livechat and i even add their msn
    I've been talking for almost 2 hours with one of their representatives the email is huqingaftersale@hotmail.com

    She is so bad and rude, i ask for a refund and she is making fun of me
    I asked for a refund for the items which the button already came off, the item cost $22.97, she said "i will refund $2 for u"

    WHAT THE FUCK ?
    *in my mind i was saying, fuck you chinese ppl"
    I'm half chinese, but i'm not from China (thank God)
    It's very embarrassing.
    They are all imposter and manipulating ppl
    Such a disgrace.

    They say i have to pay for the shipping from my place to their place, and i said okay (even though it's not worth it)

    i paid almost half of the total price just for the shipping cost only

    me : no, she's a customer service, i just asked her, if this is threatening your career i can understand, no need to lie to me.
    she : no no, of course not that's the manager
    please add this ****************
    me : now it's different e-mail again? so who was the person you gave just now ??
    she : oh my God, u can add this and talk to her, this is the manager.

    So, i add this address and to be honest she is different from other representatives, she looks like she can make decision and know what to do instead of babbling stuff that doesn't fix your problem.

    She seems patient and want to solve my problem. After a long conversation and I'm fed up, i decided to refund all of my items
    Because it's very complicated the way they deal replacement
    She said i can just send it to their New York address
    The moment that package arrives she will refund it to my paypal account
    And that's the end

  110. I was going to order 3 pairs of shoes but suddenly found it's cheaper to ship to Taiwan (where I live) than to NY (where my best friend lives), so I started to wonder the provider is from China. Luckily I found your blog and thanks for useful info.

    What I can say to you all is: never doing online shopping with people from China. When I was a graduate student in NY, I had a chance to know a group of nice China people. They were really very rich and generous in all aspects. After a party the drunk girl finally told me how they earned money. THEY SELL FAKE ITEMS ON EBAY!!!!!!

    They grab pictures from google search and post them on ebay. The prices are "reasonably" 10-20% off the authentic ones. "Of course, if they are too cheap, people will know it's a fake" the girl told me. Plus those items are new with tags, brand tags, dust bags, and there's even a serial number!! When someone placed an order, they have a thousand excuses for delay. The truth is they were waiting for other orders placed so they can ask friends sent all those fake in a package.

    Now understanding why it takes so long and sometimes it becomes out of stock? Because when you place an order on items they never had, they need to find a tailor to make the same dress or shoes as the tailor sees on the picture. If you order too many items or if they cannot find anyone to make a similar one, they then told you it's out of stock.

    Therefore, be careful to the shipping cost on any online store and on ebay. If you can possibly figure out the seller is from China, don't do business with them! They are all fake!

    I think they are fairly new as there aren't a lot of reviews on the net about them. They don't offer as many choices as other wholesalers but what they do offer is always in stock and available. The quality is actually really good (even for chiffon products which are normally horrible online)and the price is quite cheap. Check it out and see for yourself.

  113. My experience with Dressnet was horrible! They sent me broken products, some products ware missing parts, threads of shoulder straps were loose and the quality was scary! The colours of some products were not even close to what they were showing in the pictures.

    I took pictures of the products that I needed to return and e-mailed my request and than..., the hell went broken!

    They told me to clue the products and refused to take them back. You cannot believe what they were saying on the e-mails, I could not believe my self! Later on they were willing to give me 1 USD in credit store. After one month they wanted to give 3 USD in credit store, than 7, and 8, than 12..., their best credit store was 27 USD, but I paid over 300 USD for the products I could not use!

    Any way, in the end I contacted PayPal and opened a dispute and even than Dressnet did not want to accept the products and PayPal had to take actions.

    I returned the products with defect and PayPal returned my money back (Thank you PayPal!!). AND... even after that I still got e-mails from Dressnet telling me that they would not accept PayPals decision.

    Totally I have 142 e-mails I have sent to Dressnet on my e-mail box, this was for an order of 550 USD.

    Those people should be sent to prison and their business should be closed for ever. They don't have any kind of respect for their customers and no sense of dignity.

    Customers according to Dressnet are cows that only are there to provide them with money and you as a customer do not get anything in return bisides crap and problems.

    My good advice is to NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM DRESSNET, because you will regret and cry tears of blood for that misstake.

The experience is terrible I ordered from them twice and each order was only a few weeks apart and for both orders there were items that were out of stock and they kept refunding less than what I paid for the item especially the shipping. Scammers scammers scammers and most items don't even look like the picture it's terrible. They should shut down. Try to get the message across so people don't buy and get tricked by them!!!!

  128. I am going through the exact same problem. I ordered my stuff on the 16th of February. At first I thought it was going to take long because it was in China. HOWEVER, the status never got change and I finally ask and the rep claimed they sent me an email regarding my out-of-stock item and was waiting for my response to approve the order without the item or replace it. I was like, okay... Uhh.... I check my email daily, junk&inbox and never got a single email from them. Pissed me off so I opened up a dispute. The website was trying to convince me to close it so they can refund it to me. I'm still in the process of it right now and I'm not closing the dispute until I get my refund.

  129. This has been posted a long time ago but those bastards are still cheating their customers. I had a VERY TERRIBLE experience from them. Please don't buy from them. IT'S NOT WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY. I am from the Philippines and they don't care where you came from so that having an asian last name thing is NOT true. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEIR PICTURES! What they will send you is the IMITATION. You will not be getting all your items and they will NEVER INFORM you that they are out of stock - BUT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR ALL YOUR ORDERS even if you did not get all of them. The fabric is really terrible including the stitches and the prints. I ordered many pieces of couple shirts and most of them did not come in pair. How will i be able to resell those items? The sizes are waaay larger than what I have expected. THE WORST THING? THEY HAVE EVEN MISSPELLED THE WORD 'GIRLFRIEND' WRONG. I could go on forever. =( PLEASE DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING ANYTHING FROM THEM.

You should never do that, its just.. foolish.. iF you do not know the seller, site, shop etc, do NOT spend a lot of money at the first order cuz if its a scam -> lots of money spent lots of money lost! ALWAYS spend a small amount of money at first order to see if you are going to get the order in the first place..

    I have heard both good and bad reviews about this site. Sadly i think most of the ppl who give bad reviews have had way too high expectations- get real people, for such a low price the clothes quality cannot be THAT amazing..

  140. The truth about (Most- Chinese owned )wholesale websites:
    I'll put it as simple as i can, no need to go on a tangent..
    The truth is, every image and description you see is copy and paste. When they do this they don't have the item at hand; What they do is get an image of a piece of Apparel , Shoe , Accessories etc. and then they take that image to a SWEATSHOP and force the workers there to design the same outfit under harsh conditions within a short period of time. So when you order from a wholesale site like wholesale-dress.net, you're purchasing an item who's someones blood, sweat, and tears went into. And their "Customer service" is most likely one of the overworked exhausted "employees" and when you complain they feel the pressure of not meeting revenue so they will lie and cheat in order to not get punished... and who knows what horrible punishment they may receive...

    So that's the truth, I think that we should all just stop ordering from sites like that because it's like were endorsing slavery :( I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad because I too love buying Asian fashion on the dirt cheap but we can get high quality Asian fashion from alternative sites that don't run a menial sweatshop. eBay, Etsy, and especially Gmarket are great alternatives and mostly affordable. You ca bargain with the sellers who actually love what they do and will be more than happy to give you great deals ad services!

    few days later i get an email saying two items are out of stock. first of all they should mention it on the website that the item is out of stock. anyways, i said no problem i dont want to replace it just send whatever is available. to my shock the amount refunded was only 4USD which ideally should have been 16USD. i asked the customer care and they said 16USD is the shipping cost of the two items and rest 14USD is the cost of two tops. first of all how can they cut my money at their own wish. you need to tell customer exactly teh amount he is supposed to pay. if the items weren't out of stock then shipping charges would have remained 2USD? what maths is this? this is the strategy they apply. wow!

    ok. this trauma gets over and suddenly i get a mail the item out of stock is now available order again. to understand their strategy i ordered it again, for which i paid shipping again. total 12USD.

    cheating holds no limits. i get order after one month. and what i get to my surprise- a torn top, a cheap material and a different colored top. i ordered beige and i get white.

    when i mailed them asking for a refund they give funny reasons:

Not only do their products not match the pictures, the quality is down right disgraceful. Their customer service might as well be automated and set to frustrate. I cannot stress how far you should stay away from this company. Thank you very much for creating this blog.

  145. well lucky me, my experience has not i have read terrible reviews but i still ordered from them but i always knew not to expect great the item were good and nice but the material was different it was cotton not chiffon like they listed but overall it was good but i only order items that have been reviewed by other costumers and as for out of stock i always let them know right after i place my order not to ship out with out of stock item but i never order too much at one time. but yes it is hit or miss on this site i live in constant fear every time i order lol but so far so good keeping my fingers cross because im waiting on another package from them. but yes shipping is super and takes forever. so if you decide to order i recommend purchasing item that have been reviewed take shipping into consideration and if you are from the us order thing from us stock they be shipped allot faster.

  146. ordered a gift for a friend, never got it. got an email response from them that was contradictory to their dispute response via paypal. it wasn't until I told them I'm an attorney and threaten an investigation for fraud did they finally refund half of the money for my purchase. may have them investigated anyways.

  147. Oh God! I wish I had read this BEFORE I ordered my wedding dress and my husbands tuxedo. It has been a complete nightmare. Here I am, 10 days before the wedding with nothing. They are still giving me BS excuses and lies and a story that changes every five minutes. It will be ready July 4. July 4: It is ready, it will be sent today. July 6: We need 3 more days. July 9 It is really being sent this time. July 10: So sorry, need days more. July 10 It is sent today. July 11: We will give you tracking number later. July 11: me: If you sent it, you should have the number now. Them: Please be patient. We send you tracking number later. Nothing. No dress. No veil. No tux. Nothing.

  149. YUP! For me when they shipped me WRONG items! I go right straight to PAYPAL or to my bank and reverse my credit or debit card. So my bank takes withdrawl all my money back from that company that sent me WRONG ITEMS or items that does not match.. So in this case I get to keep their items and get my money BACK! FUCKIN SUCKERS! STUPID ASS CHINESE PEOPLE... They wanted to play with me and made up excuses I went straight to my bank and had my bank took back my money and showed the bank they had sent in wrong items and how the items that I order should HAVE looked like! DUMBASS CHINESE PEOPLE!

  151. I also ordered a bag; yesterday as a matter of fact. Apparently it is being packed at the moment. I had been reading reviews and most of them are bad, but they all seem to be about clothes. I was wondering the same thing, but can't seem to find anyone that responds back to let me know. I was a little worried, but still took the risk of ordering (so I only ordered one item). I guess I will have to wait and see for myself. If they can't get an order of one item right, or at least remotely similar, then I guess that would be the first and last time I order from them.

  152. For me, I have to say that I really like shopping here, I get what I paid for, and I can sell most of the stuff that I have ordered at a great profit. But you have to be a smart shopper. Always use JCEX, DPEX or Aramex for shipping, because they are the cheapest. WSD mostly send out my order in 3-6 days and it takes another 10-13 days for the package to reach me. Tips from my shopping experience(I have ordered about 6 times from them around$200-300 each order)
    *Jewellery is the best thing you can order from this site.They are cheap and you can profit a lot from them(though they have raised their price a bit since last month)
    *Shoes are always really good(pay attention to shoe size/cm). They are always really beautiful and exactly like picture, but be careful about the size.
    *As for bags don't buy one that has black lining,though they are mostly cheaper, the black lining mostly leave a black mark. As far as I can see all the other bags are really good.
    *I don't order much clothes from them because, the material is mostly bad, esp if it is cheap.
    *Also please check your item weight(eg:500gm=$10, and add 500gm=$5, so if the item you order is 520gm, you will be charge $15, and you will pay the same shipping amount for 1000gm/kg. So check the total weight of your item and add or deduct item to make the shipping rate lower and round it up to 1000gm/kg(I don't know how to explain properly, but I hope you get it)
    *Also use coupon code, posted in Facebook under Wholesale City.
    *Make sure you contact customer service after you make an order and before you pay them to ask them for discounts(they give good discounts esp if you order more than $100)
    *Ask them for free gifts if you order more than $300, they mostly send it to me, on large orders.
    *Update your Birthdays, they send free gifts(if you order around your birthday) and they offer birthday discounts too.
    I hope this helps. Btw, wholesale020.com offers cheaper price in clothes than wholesale-dress. But I have just made my first order with them yesterday, so I don't know what the shopping experience will be.

  154. I just received my items and I am happy. Understand that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! You cannot expect $100 dollar quality for a $2 price. I paid 1.80 for one shirt and the lining is kinda off.. Can't really tell unless you are inspecting it ( which I did after hearing horrible reviews about this site). If you are from the US THEN ORDER FROM US STOCK to get out of the overpricing of their shipping just in case something does go wrong ( which every online store has the possibility of) . They do absolutely suck at communication. Absolutely no updates in the tracking of my package. :( and some advice to new online shoppers NEVER EVER ORDER MORE THAN $20 WORTH OF STUDF ON A WEBSITE YOUVE NEVER ORDERED FROM!! That way if it turns out to be a sketchy website, then the loss would be lessz I'd rather lose 20 bucks than 200..   155. On my experience, I hate je551 more than wholesale.net...

    When wholesale do something wrong, they still reply me even its already 2-3 months after I paid, and they still send the goods (even some of them are disappointing) .. Maybe its not a very satisfying solution, but after I do the step of complain, they refund me some money...

    When it comes to je551, they only reply me 1-2x, then after 3 month later, they said that they only received complain several weeks after the parcel have been come to my country (but not in my city even in my house--> who makes this sucks rules!!! every seller (I ever place order) never tell me that kind of rules!!!!).

    And, because its already more than 3 month, I cant complain to paypal about this seller behavior...
    That's so suck because ABOUT HALF OF MY ORDER isn't come without any explanation moreover money refund!!!!!!!!!!!!

    While paypal only tell me that they will open this disputes (not labeled as expired again) only if there another complain for them in 6 months since my payment... Sighhhh......

    Every time I remember this I still got so angry...:((

  158. I placed an order over two weeks ago and have yet to receive the items the refund for the one out of stock item or an email of where the shipment is. When I email with them I keep get called dear and that the shipment was sent but was sent back because of customs. I asked about the time frame of a refund and the person I was talking with "resly" never came back. I opened several email screens and it appeared that the same person was commenting on each one because they were saying the same exact thing than at the end of the conversation "annie" asked was also talking with another rep. I said yes and they both stopped communicating with me. Since I'm here in the states the site is Asian I am taking this purchase as a lost "Buyer Beware". I just want to educate others so no one else suffer what I have endured. A great site to purchase from that I have never had any concerns with really fast shipping "CERI Wholesale" and "IDEELIS".

    DO not be fooled by their cheap prices. THEY are Top Class CHEATERS.
    Every person has got cheated if they know it or NOT.
    1. Cheat on shipping. The price Quoted for shipping is 55% higher.
    2. They cheat on clothing quality; hence cheat you on value.
    3. They cheat you by not sending all the items you order stating out of stock and refunding the amount into your account. This is a gimmick played by them; they will not refund you in cash or PayPal
    4. For wholesale orders they say free shipping above a certain value; but when you order from a particular link only for wholesale e.g.: china stock they increase the prices in that category; Hence making you pay more shipping and the items.
    5. Every item has more than one link with different prices e.g.; if a dress was 4USD you can find the same item with a different price of 6USD or 1 USD even 15 USD. Be careful.
    6. Please be careful when choosing items pay attention to Item code. Because 90% of their clothing is NOT in stock. What I mean is Mainly Drop-ship items. E.g.: If you order an item code M, ZS or J .and you order the shipping fee will automatically increase by 20 to 50 % and if you order item code W the shipping price will depend on the location there are shipping.

    This is my story.
    My items were never dispatched because they say a system generated error occurred causing not to show the correct Shipping charge. The said value was above 360 USD. China stock items that is eligible for free shipping. They requested me to pay an additional 150 USD for shipping
    If not they will not dispatch the items.
    Up to date I have not received any refund to any of my accounts I have sent more than 60 e mails to them No respond.
    Plus I have 40 USD in my wholesale dress.net account bring the total to 400 USD.

    The 1st time I ordered from them.
    I encountered these issues.
    My order arrived after 22days; FEDEX website showed Package Anticipated pickup date 30th August 2012. The said package was to arrive within 4-6 working days. Never did.
    I was refunded a total of 40 USD to my wholesale dress.net account. Items were out of stock.
    4 items were Damage. 3 were Dirty and color was off.

    My advice is keep away if you did not get cheated the 1st time you are bound to be cheated them 2nd.
    There is no legal Authority we can complain too to take any legal action against them.
    Please keep away!!!
    Still if you are adornment and want to buy from them please check availability, check item codes and do not keep any money in your Wholesale dress.net account replace the amount with items. Inform them that you want a confirmation e mail sent to your account with a Performa Invoice signed and sealed.
    2nd tip is save the pictures to your Hand drive and increase the brightness on the picture to see the real quality of the product.
    3rd tip if the Gsm value is lower than 220gsm that means it is BAD quality.

  163. I am a very very very disappointed customer of Wholesale-dress.net I have been ordering continuously for about 2 months now. And every order causes me so much trouble! I am a re-seller and honestly do not be blinded by their prices because first of all they double the weight of the actual item which makes you pay twice the shipping fee!

    The most irritating part are the customer service person does not know how to answer their customers' queries the only thing they say is "SORRY". And they do the same mistake all over again.

    Please please please if you do not want to waste your money and patience do not order from this site again. And I am never buying from them ever again!

    Since I am complaining I want the people to be aware of my horrible experience. I always check my orders from time to time with the customer service since it says "Online 24/7" seems very helpful huh :) but guess what they know nothing! Trust me nothing and they can't help you with anything. I don't even know if they do understand English. For instance, I have paid for 6 of my items yesterday and clearly stated "PLEASE DO NOT SHIP UNTIL THE 30TH OF NOVEMBER" because I was supposed to add more items. As you know shipping 6 items is a waste of money that is the reason i asked them to hold my orders and i will be adding more on or before the 30th of November. And the so called "very helpful" customer service agent told me she can put a note for me. Ahuh! Sounds very helpful indeed but guess what I rechecked after a couple of hours and they shipped my orders right away! I really got so disappointed and now they're telling me that it is the fault of one of their "men" as the agent kept a note but the guy who prepared the items haven't read the note! Is this an excuse? What a reason Lydia of "Customer Service".

    Another issue is the redeclare of items for tax purposes at first they will tell you "Yes dear we can redeclare for you to help you until 50% less of the amount" WOW! Sounds so helpful again but guess what they redeclared once and not even half the amount, and just once! I never had a redeclare of items after this and I had to pay for the full amount of the items for my tax fee!

  166. I wish I have found this earlier. Just spent almost $50 and I'm from Philippines, and its around 2thousand, in Philippine rate and I was just about to purchase another Item from this week. It's a big thing for me, I worked hard for that money. I just check the Fedex with the tracking number they gave to me, and guess what? The Fedex representative told me that, they only prepared my items online but they never pass the package to Fedex or sent the package by Fedex ! ! !

    I'm really annnoyed right now! I hope they will get their KARMA soon.

  167. I ordered from wholesale dress.net on 18th may and paid around 13 $ for shipping to india.. ordered 10 items.. 3 pieces of clothing and 7 pieces of jewelry. They sent me only 3 pieces and didn't send 7 pieces of jewelry . And the weight on the customer invoice from fedex stated 0.5kg.. while the net weight they charged me was 1.7kgs. They are saying they have sent all 10 items ..whereas the package weighed only 0.5 kg instead of 1.7kg. I told them that if the jewelry was present in the package it would weigh more than 0.5kg.
    Since the past 3 days I am escalating emails and no response from their end. They use sentences like dear,
    please dont worry.. as if I am thr friend.
    And then after explaining the whole issue to them.. they ask me what my problem is.
    This wholesale dress.net is a scam website. They trick people and cheat them . And the customer service is beyond pathetic. I curse them.
